Human Resources Manager

AWESOME INC, a creative studio in Atlanta, GA, is currently seeking an HR and Operations Manager to administer HR policies, manage employee relations, lead recruitment efforts, and manage operations. Position is full-time with benefits.



  • 3+ years of experience in human resources or related field
  • Previous experience with entertainment, film, animation or production related industry preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in human resources
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
  • Must be able to keep sensitive information confidential



In this position you may find yourself…

  • Onboarding new employees and conducting new employee orientations
  • Monitoring compliance to internal policies and legal standards
  • Processing benefit elections and maintaining employee records
  • Conducting exit interviews and completing termination paperwork
  • Running payroll
  • Drafting job listings and publishing them to external job boards
  • Coordinating / attending recruitment trips to career fairs and colleges
  • Overseeing applicant database-  conducting portfolio reviews and preliminary interviews
  • Managing benefits administration including renewals, invoicing, enrollments, terminations, including COBRA administration
  • Managing culture and engagement, including our mentorship program, special events, company meetings and incentives.
  • Overseeing studio operations – security, IT, utilities, software, hardware, and maintenance; communicating with vendors as needed.
